If you are sending me a knife that you want sheathed, please follow the instructions below to ensure that not only the transaction goes smoothly and you get the product you wanted, but so that we are all on the same page when it comes to order fulfillment which in turn will allow me to give you the best customer service that I can.
1. Before you mail anything, be sure we have spoken or corresponded in some way and that I know you are sending me a knife and I know exactly what it is that you wanted done.
2. Be sure to insure any knife you send me based on the value of that knife. This will protect you if something happens to your knife in transit.
3. Be sure to tape any folding knife in the closed position.
4. Be sure to either sheath any fixed blade you send me, or securely wrap the blade in a few layers of duct tape and cardboard.
5. Painters tape works very well for any application in which the tape is in contact with the knife surface. It is easy to remove and leaves no glue residue and will not harm the finish of your knife.
